Area Activity Guide: City Love 2018

March 2018

“A Friend/Fund Raising Event”

That’s how South Wedge Planning Committee board chair Frank Logan describes City Love. The annual event, now in its 7th year, raises funds for affordable housing and neighborhood projects in our city. It also creates the perfect opportunity for neighbors to shake off the winter blues while getting together for a good cause. More than a fundraiser, City Love is a celebration of the people and businesses that make our corner of Rochester such a great place to call home. Guests who attend this year’s event on Friday, April 2nd at the Historic German House can expect live music performed by local rhythm & blues band the Coup De’ Villes, plenty of beer and food tastings, and a variety of auctions.

Save the Date: Friday, April 20th, 2018

There are a few Rochester events each year for which you should snag your ticket for as soon as possible. This is one of them. Tickets are limited and available in advance online or at ButaPub for $25 ($30 at the door if available). Proceeds from the 7th Annual City Love event will benefit housing rehabilitation and preservation initiatives, neighborhood beautification projects, the South Wedge Farmers Market, and The Wedge newspaper. Support your community and join the ROC City love fest!
