On the second Wednesday of each month, Rochester A-List and ROConnoisseur get together and host a Rochester City Walk. ROConnoisseur is a web series designed to help Western New Yorkers answer two very difficult questions, “What do you want to do this weekend?” and “Where should we go to eat?” City Walks gives those plagued by such questions the opportunity to experience several local food and drink establishments in a single evening.

Rekindle your love for Rochester AND Happy Hour with a walking party that highlights local spots for food and drink. Each City Walk is a one-of-a-kind experience focusing on a different area of the city. Bring some old friends and make some new ones as you experience Rochester’s best.

Exploring Around Seabreeze

July’s City Walk is planned for July 10th in the Seabreeze neighborhood and will include three spots in its mobile party. Marge’s Lakeside Inn allows you to sip your beverage beachside with your feet in the sand. The night of the July City Walk, Marge’s will host live music by Jumbo Shrimp. Stop #2 is Union Tavern, which has reopened under new management and is ready to welcome you back. Also on the tour is Shamrock Jack’s, with delicious items from the kitchen to sample. Each location will offer drink specials to enhance your City Walk experience.

A Chance for More Fun

Each time you participate in a City Walk, you are automatically entered in a drawing to win an overnight stay at The Strathallan Hotel with dinner for two at Hattie’s Rooftop Restaurant. The next winner will be announced at the October City Walk.

Essential Details

Each City Walk takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. There are a limited number of tickets available, and they’ll run you $12 apiece. Registered walkers will receive details about where to meet the group a few days before the walk. The next City Walk in August is planned for Charlotte.
