Area Activity Guide: Buffalo Bills Training Camp
August 2016
Are you ready for some football?
It can be a long summer when you’re counting down the days till the NFL season kicks off. Fortunately, the Buffalo Bills show Rochester fans some love each August by holding their training camp at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford. Training camp is a great opportunity to get your football fix, see how the team is doing, and — if you’re lucky — maybe even meet your favorite players.
Awesome at Any Age
Adults can get their fill of football talk at training camp, but it’s also a great outing for the whole family. Training camp is a strictly no-alcohol zone, which makes it the perfect atmosphere for kids of all ages. Young fans can learn new moves and test their skills in a variety of football challenges. There’s also a kids’ autograph zone at each practice where two Bills players will sign items for kids under age 14. Fans can also get autographs along the fence as players exit practice.
Bills Training Camp Tips
- Practice is free to attend, but night sessions require that you pick up tickets in advance.
- Watch the forecast — practices moved indoors due to weather are off-limits to the public.
- College buildings are closed to the public.
- Autographs are limited to one per person, so be sure to bring a favorite item.
- You can park at a nearby school and take a $1 shuttle (free for kids under 12) to St. John Fisher. Check the shuttle schedule for details.
