August 2015

OK, OK, OK…we know we’ve written about craft beer before. All right, maybe a couple of times. But hear us out – there are a few reasons we’re doing it again. Firstly, it’s an exciting time to be a craft beer enthusiast. Secondly, you’re in a great city if you’re a craft beer enthusiast. And finally, the Flour City Brewfest is taking place next week at the Rochester Public Market, a mere two miles from South and Hickory Place! That’s three great reasons to keep you all posted about this event.

The 2015 edition of the Flour City Brewfest will take place next Friday, the 21st, at the Public Market from 6PM to 9PM. It features dozens and dozens of breweries and vendors (with meads, liquors, and non-alcoholic beverages amongst the drinks, as well), as well as eight food trucks. As if tremendous beer and food isn’t enough, there will also be live, local music. All that points to one of the best parties of the year! Check out the Brewfest website for a list of all the breweries, vendors, food trucks, and musicians, as well as ticketing info. Cheers!
