You might say that the food-truck scene in Rochester has been booming in recent years. On-the-road sustenance options have multiplied, adding spice and excitement to a ton of Rochester events. The best opportunity to taste test the gamut of Upstate New York food trucks is to sample several when they’re all in one place. Fortunately, the Rochester Public Market brings us nine such opportunities this year. The 2016 schedule of Food Truck Rodeos will wrangle all the four-wheeled food that can fit into the Market, along with free local music. Get there early to ensure you get access to the elusive most-popular menu items that tend to sell out. Bringing your own camp chair is a good bet, and don’t forget the valid ID if you’re planning to sip any local spirits.
