September 2015

As evidenced by our world-renowned Jazz Festival, Rochester is a small city with a big music scene. Did you know that the Eastman School of Music puts on more than 700 shows each year? As a resident at South and Hickory Place, you’re just a 6-minute drive or a 15-minute bus/walking combination from all that music.

Hold on. This gets even better.

It’s no secret that Kodak Hall attracts world-class talent. What you might not know, however, is that many of the Eastman School’s performances are free. Just bookmark their concert calendar to get plugged into an incredible array of classical, jazz, and world-music performances. The concerts listed there are free unless otherwise noted. Admission to those in the Faculty Artist Series costs just $10. Of course…If you’re a student, even RPO tickets are just $10.

Be sure to soak up some spectacular sounds this winter.
