Sure, iPods are convenient, and CDs sound digitally crisp, but audiophiles know that music never has, and never will, sound as authentic and immersive as it does on vinyl.  LPs are enjoying a renaissance, with more and more people rediscovering – or jumping onboard for the first time – the joy of records.  And as always, the South Wedge right there, leading the charge.

The Wedge’s very own Needledrop Records is once again hosting the South Wedge Record Fair, which will be held this Saturday, May 16th at The German House.  This year’s Spring Edition will feature over 40 vendors, selling vinyl, CDs, and more.  This is a terriffic opportunity to build your vinyl collection, find that rare press you’ve been searching for for years, and meet other vinyl enthusiasts.  And it’s practically in your backyard!  Yet another reason it’s great to live at South and Hickory place!  So dust off those turntables, clean those styluses, and find some new records to spin!
