Going Up (or Down)?

When it’s time to move into or out of an apartment that’s not at ground level, elevators are absolutely awesome. We and your neighbors totally understand that they’re essential for moving day.

It pays to plan ahead.

Once you’ve scheduled moving day, please let the maintenance office know in advance if you plan on using the elevator to move furniture or boxes. If you don’t let us know, the elevator could become disabled — for you and everyone else.

Get a consistently working elevator.

By default, the elevator doors will attempt to close on their own. If they are stopped and held open three times in a row, the elevator will shut down. If that happens, the system will be unusable until maintenance comes to reset it. Please call the maintenance office at 585-256-8200 between 8AM and 4PM on a weekday to schedule your move so the elevator can be “unlocked.” This will prevent shut-down and make moving day a whole lot easier.
