Warm up with Craft Beer and Spirits!

Craft Beer

February 2015

Winters here in Rochester are often frigid, and this one is shaping up to be no different.  But what better way for craft beer and spirit enthusiasts to fend off that chill than with two different festivals celebrating the local art of adult beverages?

On February 13th at 7PM, the Main Street Armory (less than a 10-minute drive from South and Hickory Place!) will open its doors to host the Inaugural Rochester Craft Beer and Spirits Experience.  The night be will be jam-packed with fun, including 20 craft breweries (including locals Genesee, Custom Brewcrafters, and Three Heads Brewing), chocolates, Constellation wines, and admission to the Castle of Horrors haunted house!  Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door, with VIP ($60) and Designated Driver ($10) also available.  More information can be found here.

And if that wasn’t enough, the next weekend, the famous RocCity Brewfest will be held February 21st!  This year, it’s doubled in size and has had to move to the Dome Arena in Henrietta to accommodate its growth!  They’ll have over 100 different craft beers to sample, Irish music from Crikwater, brand new catered food, and two different sessions to choose from!  Heading over to the annual festival’s website will reveal any and all information you might need, including participating breweries, ticket prices, and schedules.

So if you love trying new craft beers and spirits, it looks like the deepest colds of February might just be tolerable after all.
